Iceberg Wedge Salad

This classic wedge salad uses just a handful of ingredients and is just about the best thing ever on a hot day. Do take the extra couple of minutes to make your own dressing -- it makes all the difference.

PREP TIME: 5 minutes
COOK TIME: 10 minutes

Store-bought Blue cheese dressing
1 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 head iceberg lettuce, cored and cut into 4 wedges
8 slices of bacon, cooked, cooled and crumbled
1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes

Place each lettuce wedge on a plate, drizzle with the blue cheese dressing and then sprinkle with crumbled bacon and tomatoes. Garnish with more blue cheese, if desired and fresh crushed black pepper, to taste.
